Name: Kristina Lite
Location: Albuquerque, NM
Role: Human Resources Intern

Fundraising Goal: $1,000

How did you get interested in global issues?
At first, I was just looking for a job that would help me gain experience in the Human Resources field. After further research into The Borgen Project, I found that its mission aligned with my own values which fueled my interest to take action.

Why are you volunteering your time to serve the world’s poor?
I want to be a part of genuine change that serves to better people on a global state.

Any interesting tidbits to share?
I love my cat, Cocoa, I pretty much only read Harry Potter for fun, I played soccer for more than twenty years, and I was born in a third-world country where poverty is a norm.

My Compassion/Humility List
I will do the following for any friends and family who donate in my honor.

  1. $150: Make you dinner
  2. $250: Stand guard of your house wearing a bathing suit, flip flops and holding the American flag for one hour
  3. $500: Send you a video of me singing ‘Ain’t No Mountain High Enough’
