How did you get interested in global issues?
I got interested in global issues when as a young adult (around the age of 19) I started volunteering with refugees in Athens, Greece. It was then, that I saw the violence a little tray of about 10 strawberries conflicted, among the younger boys who literally played “top dog” – beating each other for just 10 strawberries. I instantly knew that what I was witnessing was wrong, as children that young are supposed to love and share. Since then, I’ve tried to be an advocate and ally.

Why are you volunteering your time to serve the world’s poor?
Because it is the right thing to do!

Any interesting tidbits to share?
I have “dancing” noted down on my daily notes/routine and oh mate, do I make time for it!
