How did you get interested in global issues?
My experience traveling around the world has exposed me to the beauty of so many cultures, but I also realized that many people in impoverished areas of the globe don’t have the same privileges and benefits that Americans do. I vowed to not let children starve without the most powerful country in the world noticing.

Why are you volunteering your time to serve the world’s poor?
People all around the world have the potential to do extraordinary things that can benefit the planet as a whole, but so many people fail to reach that potential because they die due to preventable causes or are forced to worry solely about surviving. Everyone deserves a chance to reach that potential and the world deserves everyone to reach their potential as well.

Any interesting tidbits to share?
I like to travel, play soccer, run, and I once skied down an Olympic run (by accident)!
