How did you get interested in global issues?
Growing up, I always wanted to help people who were suffering in the world, but I didn’t know how to do so. When I first found out about The Borgen Project, I realized this really is the time to step out of my comfort zone and actually put action into helping global issues.

Why are you volunteering your time to serve the world’s poor?
Being privileged to live in this country with all of its opportunities, it is my duty to use that power to serve people who are in need.

Any interesting tidbits to share?
I like lifting weights, watching movies, solving puzzles, and eating strawberries!

My compassion/humility list:
I will do the following for any friends or family who donates in my honor…

1. Write thank you letters.
2. Give a huge hug and smile!
