Name: Jessica Winarski
Location: Orlando, FL
Position: Writer Intern

Fundraising Goal: $500

How did you get interested in global issues? As I got older, I realized how well off we have it here in America and how many other countries and people are struggling for everything we take for granted.

Why are you volunteering your time to serve the world’s poor? I want to do anything I can to make some small difference in the world. If we have the means and ability to help those that are less fortunate, why don’t we?

Any interesting tidbits to share? I like sewing, running, reading, and writing. I currently work at Disney World, living out my childhood dreams!

My compassion/humility list:
I will do the following for any friends or family who donates in my honor…

  1. $50: I’ll cook you dinner, complete with dessert!
  2. $75: I’ll wash your car. The inside too!
  3. $100+: Anything goes!
