As a journalist intern at The Borgen Project charity, I am motivated by the opportunity to use my skills and passion for writing to make a tangible impact on global poverty. I believe that journalism can be a powerful tool for raising awareness and generating meaningful discussions on socio-economic issues that affect the world’s most vulnerable populations. By volunteering with The Borgen Project, I hope to shed light on the challenges faced by those living in poverty and contribute to the organization’s mission of advocating for sustainable solutions and policy changes at a global level. My interest in global poverty stems from a deep sense of empathy and a strong belief in the inherent value and dignity of every individual, irrespective of their circumstances. Through my volunteer work, I aspire to inspire positive change, foster empathy, and mobilize resources to create a more equitable world for all.
