Henry Jones

Name: Henry Jones
Location: Surrey, United Kingdom
Role: Writer/Journalist Team Member

Fundraising Goal: £400

How did you get interested in global issues?
In my life I have been fortunate to have experienced a range of different cultures from all around the world, which gave me an understanding of our shared humanity that transcends all borders. Studying Politics made me understand the power we have to improve people’s lives.

Why are you volunteering your time to serve the world’s poor?
I feel a responsibility to use my education to help those in extreme poverty. I want people to believe in the possibility of ending poverty and to inspire people to take action.

Any interesting tidbits to share?
Love to play and listen to music, love to travel (Nepal is next on the list) and I love sport. The first ever game of Cricket was first played in my home town!

My Compassion/Humility List
I will do the following for any friends and family who donate in my honor.

  • Runs
  • Bike rides
  • Walks
