I am fundraising for The Borgen Project, as I believe that we all have a responsibility to begin to address international poverty. As a nation we have cut our overseas aid by over £3 Billion since the pandemic. Due to cuts like this, the number of people living in conditions of extreme poverty rose for the first time in a generation, with over 25% of people living on a daily allowance of less than £3.
