How did you get interested in global issues?
I got interested in global issues through the news and social media, as this made me recognise that there are so many problems around the world. Also, there are some problems which the news does not report but social media has made the public aware of theses issues. The Borgen Project tackles all these problems, and I want to be part of this change to make a better future.
Why are you volunteering your time to serve the world’s poor?
The reason is to bring change to the world and to prevent extreme poverty from further affecting their lives. Another reason is that I would always see on television adverts of charities showing people living in bad living conditions, they never show the positive effects of donations received. However with The Borgen project, it has statistics of the positives impact is has made and I want to be part of this organisation.
