I am fundraising for The Borgen Project because I believe that a lot more needs to be done in order to tackle poverty worldwide. With the current situation in the world, both the US and UK governments have a moral obligation to focus on poverty relief efforts. As of late, there are many situations of extreme poverty and terrible uncertainty occurring globally. It is more than possible that the implementation of international aid can help to make a difference in these situations.
