Hello everyone! As many of you are aware, I am volunteering as a political affairs intern for The Borgen Project. Global poverty is an issue we are all aware of but very few of us realise how close to home it has become. The products and devices you use on a daily basis may have been made, somewhere along their global supply chain, by someone living in poverty. A child on a wage less than $1.90 a day. Yes, a child. It got me the first time to. The playtime we have been so lucky to experience as children, is somewhat of a fantasy to others and in the 21st century, what have we done wrong? So I am working with The Borgen Project to advocate to work towards eradicating poverty from developing and emerging countries. You can help too.
