I am volunteering as an intern at The Borgen Project because there needs to be a change in making UK foreign policy more accountable for helping those in developing countries. It is unethical for a country that has the funds to make a change, such as the UK, to turn a cold shoulder on these struggling communities. Through my role within the Borgen project, such as fundraising, contacting government officials, and writing articles, I want to make meaningful change and provide help in any possible way.
