Grace

Name: Grace Clay
Location: Leicestershire, United Kingdom
Role: Writer/Journalist Team Member

Fundraising Goal: £400

How did you get interested in global issues?
In this day and age, it’s difficult to not be aware of global issues. Whether it’s via the newspapers, television or online, we are constantly being informed about the many problems we have around the world. It didn’t take long for the reporting of these issues to grab my attention, and to ensure that we act now.

Why are you volunteering your time to serve the world’s poor?
We are too passive in our response to aid those in poverty. It’s become casual to say comments such as ‘I wish I could help.’ In reality, we can help. It all comes down to choice. I have chosen to be active, to help.

Any interesting tidbits to share?
An opinion of debate but — Pineapples do belong on pizza.
