Name: Esther Adegburin
Location: London, UK
Role: Political Affairs Team
Fundraising Goal: $500
How did you get interested in global issues?
From a young age I had an intense curiosity for global issues. From learning about the history of the world in my education, and later on the political state of the world, it naturally became important for to participate in raising awareness on global issues that affect the disadvantaged.
Why are you volunteering your time to serve the world’s poor?
As the world is becoming more interconnected it is important that those who are in the position to help the poor do so as I believe it does not only benefit those in need- which is the main goal, but also improves the welfare of other states across the globe.
Any interesting tidbits to share?
I really enjoy travelling and learning about different cultures from different countries.
