How did you get interested in global issues?
I study Politics at the University of Manchester which has deepened my knowledge of global inequalities, thus inspiring me to advocate for changed to policy which will reduce poverty in the global south.
Why are you volunteering your time to serve the world’s poor?
I’m volunteering my time to serve the poor of the world to encourage leaders to make reducing global poverty a top policy concern. This is because I am passionate about reducing inequalities in the world, and ensuring that everyone has the basic means to have an acceptable living standard.
Any interesting tidbits to share?
My hobbies include playing netball for my university’s team, making art through the medium of painting and drawing, and hanging out with my friends.
