I am volunteering and fundraising for The Borgen Project. Addressing global poverty is as pressing an issue as ever, and I believe that helping to rebuild economies, societies and states after the pandemic is of upmost importance. The UK is in a position of privilege, and bumping the foreign aid budget to 0.7% of GNI initially promised can aid the countries and people that need it the most exponentially. We must provide all the support we can.
