Name: Emi Cormier
Location: Barnstable, MA
Position: Writer Intern

Fundraising Goal: $500

How did you get interested in global issues?
I’ve always had an interest in current affairs, and in travel, so naturally the two interests paired together and got me into global affairs.

Why are you volunteering your time to serve the world’s poor?
I think there needs to be increased general awareness to not only the problems people around the world are going through, but also to potential solutions.

Any interesting tidbits to share?
In my spare time, I love reading, photography, traveling, spending time at the beach, and being with friends + family.
