My name is Diya, I am volunteering as an intern at The Borgen Project, which I am also fundraising for, addressing global extreme poverty because access to the basics to survive should be a given, and yet nearly 10% of the global population live on less that $2.15, this does not only effect living conditions, but their ability to prosper in life, with limited recourses. I want to advocate for global issues and hold more accountability in helping those from developing countries. One of the jobs I have as a member of the team is to fundraise.
