According to Oxford University’s 2023 research, “1.1 billion out of 6.1 billion people internationally live in acute multidimensional poverty”. Coming from a developing country, I have seen first-hand the devastating effects of poverty on the quality of life. Therefore, I am committed to advocating for the world’s poor as I believe every human being deserves to experience a good standard of living.
