I have only recently had my eyes opened to the vast cultural disparities that exist across the world, and I want to play my part in making addressing these issues a greater priority and a responsibility of the UK government. I am both fascinated and alarmed by the cultural and socio-economic factors that drive poverty, and thus wish to promote the areas in which we may contribute towards improving the quality of life for those that are currently living below the poverty-line. I believe everyone should be made more aware of these issues, therefore I am excited to advocate the work that The Borgen Project do and mobilise many of my fellow constituents.
