Name: Dami Kalejaiye
Location: Essex, United Kingdom
Role: Writer/Journalist Intern
Fundraising Goal: £400
How did you get interested in global issues?
Watching the news, reading articles from The Economist and listening to podcasts.
Why are you volunteering your time to serve the world’s poor?
I believe it is our moral duty to look out for those who are less fortunate than we are. Thus, volunteering gives me the opportunity to advocate about galvanising systemic change and promoting ways we can improve the living conditions for the poor, who survive on less than $1 a day.
Any interesting tidbits to share?
Memorised all the U.S Presidents, love reading, play chess, watch crime documentaries, interested in propagating financial intelligence and financial education.
