As someone who has been constantly blessed with the privilege of safety, food and a roof over my head, I recognise that it is easy to become ignorant to the experiences of others. I am volunteering with the Borgen Project to do my bit to help those who have been long ignored. I want to call on others who have been lucky on life to give to others: while it takes a second out of our lives to give, it can give a lifetime to those in need. The Borgen Project gives me the opportunity to reach beyond my community and support the global community, and I urge others to do the same.
