Name: Connor Dobson

Position: Writer

Fundraising Goal: $500

How did you get interested in global issues? The world is more than capable and wealthy enough to eradicate global poverty and struggling, so why hasn’t it been done yet? I am interested in finding that out.

Why are you volunteering your time to serve the world’s poor? I believe every human being on the planet shares some sense of civic responsibility – this is my attempt to do my part.

Any interesting tidbits to share?

  1. I know a little bit of Arabic (could still get easily lost in Egypt though).
  2. Movie-lover.
  3. Write creatively on the side.

My compassion/humility list:
I will do the following for any friends or family who donates in my honor…

  1. For $10, I will write an ORIGINAL POEM about you and send it to you also.
  2. For $18, I will wash your car!
  3. For $20, I will pet sit or babysit for the day.
  4. For $70, I will cook you a nice dinner – candles included.
  5. For $100, I will run your day’s errands for you (please be kind if you choose this one).
