Name: Collin Williams
Location: Concord, California
Position: Writer
Fundraising Goal: $1,400
How did you get interested in global issues? By being a history buff and seeing how issues across the world affect others.
Why are you volunteering your time to serve the world’s poor? I became sick of being one of the people who complained about world poverty, but never did anything about it.
Any interesting tidbits to share? I play games as much as I try to be an accomplished writer. Down the line, I hope one of these helps me with a future career.
My compassion/humility list:
I will do the following for any friends or family who donates in my honor…
- $50: I will become a late participant of the ALS challenge and film myself dumping ice cold water on myself.
- $50: I’ll cook you a fine tray of brownies
- $100: Video of me begging for your support.
