My interest in global issues stems from a firm belief that every individual deserves access to basic necessities like shelter, nutritious food, and a clean environment. Witnessing the struggles of housing poverty and food deserts in my community has shown me the profound impact these issues have on people’s lives, perpetuating cycles of poverty and limiting opportunities for growth. With the support I have received from my community during challenging times, I am driven by a deep sense of gratitude and a strong desire to give back.
