Hello! As a volunteer intern at The Borgen Project, I want to utilize my time with the organization by actively contributing to addressing and eradicating global poverty. The Borgen Project identifies the correlation between some of the UK’s most pressing political or foreign policy issues and the existence of global poverty. To find comprehensive solutions to tackle issues at the heart of UK politics, we must actively support initiatives that tackle poverty.
There are currently 719 million people living in extreme poverty and face unimaginable hardship every day. Both the UK and US have the means and power to rectify these inequalities; it’s time to hold governments accountable. Please join me and become an ally of the world’s poor.
