Name: Carrington Peavy
Location: Beachwood, Ohio
Fundraising Goal: $500
How did you get interested in global issues? As a young woman, I felt a need to stay on top of political issues whether they be worldwide or local. I became interested in global issues watching the news and seeing friends and family react to current news and topics that face our world every day.
Why are you volunteering your time to serve the world’s poor? The poor didn’t choose to be poor, but we as a society have a choice to help those in need. I am volunteering my time to serve the world’s poor because I believe that everyone needs a helping hand at some point in their lives. If I can help one person, it’ll make a world of a difference.
Any interesting tidbits to share? I enjoy reading, playing video games, and spending time with friends and family. My favorite food is pizza and ice cream.
