Fundraising Goal: $500

How did you get interested in global issues?
I have a heart for children and there are children in need all over the world; each person can improve the world however small the impact. Global issues seem far away, but each of us can make a difference when we tackle specific issues.

Why are you volunteering your time to serve the world’s poor?
This is a great opportunity to share a little bit of my time to impact someone else in a positive way! The time and effort will allow others a step forward in their journey to escape their current living conditions. We are so fortunate with access to an abundance of opportunity in our nation that it is only right we do our part to help other nations succeed as well!

Any interesting tidbits to share?
In my spare time, I love the read, spend time with my husband and friends, explore the trails of SC, and travel wherever I can.

My compassion/humility list:
I will do the following for any friends or family who donates in my honor…

  1. $50: Help with homework
  2. $100: Cook a nice meal
  3. $150: Take you out to eat!
