Name: Carissa Cutler
Location: Vancouver, Washington
Position: Political Affairs Intern

How did you get interested in global issues?
I’m a Political Science major, and I’ve always been intrigued by politics in countries around the world.

Why are you volunteering your time to serve the world’s poor?
I think it is very important to help others in need, especially when I am very privileged. I’ve always been someone to help those in need, and it makes me very happy to do anything I can to help!

Any interesting tidbits to share?
I love Disney, Marvel, Dude Perfect, and Impractical Jokers. I also love playing sports, hiking, canoeing, basically anything outdoors.

My compassion/humility list:
I will do the following for any friends or family who donates in my honor…

  1. $75: I will complete a trick shot of your choice
  2. $100: I will cook you a 4-course meal
  3. $250: I will stand outside of a building and sing whatever songs you want me too
  4. $500: I will perform an act of your choosing in a public space
