How did you get interested in global issues?
I became interested in global issues from reading the newspaper, stumbling onto websites and taking classes at my university. I have also been a participant in community service trips geared towards the homeless community as well as helping others in need of food or shelter.
What do you do when you’re not fighting global poverty?
When I am not fighting global poverty you can find me curled up reading a book, taking classes at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, playing Xbox or finding random projects to do around the house (I recently started my own tub of compost).
What have you learned/found interesting about The Borgen Project?
What I have learned and found fascinating about The Borgen Project is the amount of dedication and effort that every single person puts into their work. Everyone I have talked to or communicated with has been incredibly sincere with their interest in making a difference. Their sheer kindness and compassion made me want to play a role in The Borgen Project and learn how to make a difference within my community and eventually (hopefully) the world.
