I am interning at The Borgen Project as I believe it is a fundamental right that everyone has access to basic necessities such as food, water and shelter and I wholeheartedly agree with the movement that The Borgen Project is pushing. However, it does go beyond just basic necessities as people should also lead comfortable and happy lives and poverty is a contagion that plagues our world and prevents people from acquiring what it is they need to live. Through my internship and advocacy I hope to help The Borgen Project reach it’s goals and to help people in need.
