Name: Austyn Goslee
Location: Columbus, OH
Position: Political Affairs Intern

Fundraising Goal: $500

How did you get interested in global issues?
Going into college, I knew I wanted to study International Affairs. At Ohio State University, I was able to major in International Studies with a focus on diplomacy. I knew I wanted to be a part of the bigger picture. The United States, through its foreign policy, has the power to influence real, and sizable, change in the lives of the world’s most vulnerable.

Why are you volunteering your time to serve the world’s poor?
As a citizen and constituent, I have the power to use my voice in support of legislation that will improve the lives of millions of people.

Any interesting tidbits to share?
I love traveling and being outdoors, and I look for any opportunity to combine the two.

My compassion/humility list:
I will do the following for any friends or family who donates in my honor…

  1. $50 donation for Date Night babysitting
  2. $75 donation for cooking dinner
