How did you get interested in global issues?
I became interested in the ways in which the people of the world fit together and interact with one another in a world history course in high school. It wasn’t until I went to college in the fall of 2016 that I understood the way that I could personally fit the issues that I cared about into the political world. The global issues that I had had an interest in for a number of years were issues that I had within my power to advocate for on the political level.

Why are you volunteering your time to serve the world’s poor?
I believe that when one person, community, or nation succeeds, we all succeed.

Any interesting tidbits to share?
I enjoy reading, hiking, and playing music.
