Name: Anika Chowdhury
Location: Arlington, TX
Position: Human Resource Intern

Fundraising Goal: $500

How did you get interested in global issues?
I saw the website for The Borgen Project and learned about global poverty. I want to share this issue and spread awareness.

Why are you volunteering your time to serve the world’s poor?
I believe we need to give back to society, especially to those in need of financial support. We should teach others about gratitude and need to share that gratefulness with others who need it.

Any interesting tidbits to share?
I like to take videos and pictures of what I am grateful for and show others that we should not take life for granted. I would also like to share this awareness and spread gratitude of what we already have and learn to give others the same rather than take in more.
