Name: Ananta Arora
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Position: PR/Marketing Intern

Fundraising Goal: $500

How did you get interested in global issues?
I have family living in other countries, and I went to a high school with a large international boarding program, so I have had more opportunity to learn about other cultures and issues people in other countries face.

Why are you volunteering your time to serve the world’s poor?
I’m fortunate that my family has always been fairly well off and my parents were able to send me to very good schools. I feel that I should use my privileges to help those who are not as fortunate as me.

Any interesting tidbits to share?
I go to school for Music Business and Film Scoring. I play guitar, drums, piano, and saxophone, as well as write music. I enjoy going to concerts, watching anime, playing video games, and taking pictures in my free time.
