I am volunteering as an intern for The Borgen Project because its mission to address global poverty is an extremely important one. It is 2023 – no one deserves to live in extreme poverty. Yet 719 million people do (living on less than $2.15 a day). This needs to change immediately and one of the ways this can be done is by putting global poverty on the political agenda. Therefore, I want to play my part in advocating for legislation that addresses global poverty, ensuring that our policy makers recognise the importance of it. To help me do this, please donate to The Borgen Project – an NGO that has been working with legislators for years to ensure that global poverty is addressed.
