Poverty should not be a fact of life or something we accept, especially when there are multi millionaires and billionaires among us. I believe we have a moral obligation to help those in poverty, even if they are hundreds of thousands of miles away. I am hopeful The Borgen Project can initiate impactful change through spreading information and encouraging legislative change to foreign aid policies.
