How did you get interested in global issues?
My internship with The Borgen Project opened my eyes to global issues and how important they are.

Why are you volunteering your time to serve the world’s poor?
It doesn’t take a lot to make an impact. Whether it’s a big or small action, everything helps.

Any interesting tidbits to share?
I have never traveled outside of the U.S., so I hope to do so in the near future.
