Please donate and help further this cause. This organisation can be and has been pivotal in reducing both extreme poverty and inequality. This is not a futile ambition, from 1990 to 2019 global poverty fell from 36% to 8.2% prior to the pandemic. But this is still not enough. The Borgen Project uses its resources more efficiently than others, by meeting with government officials to lobby foreign aid programs that help those worse off and prioritising commitments made by both the US and UK governments to tackle this issue on a macro scale. But we need donations to make this possible so that more interns such as myself can be trained to continue to raise awareness of this organisation and grow the operations.
