The Borgen Project selects interns year round for positions in
Seattle (occasionally for other parts of the country). Seattle
internships are typically in policy, political affairs, fundraising,
marketing, graphic design and public relations. Interns are
required to work a minimum of 12 hours per week and those
seeking more hours can work up to 40 hours per week.
Preference will be given to interns who are available to work
full-time (36-40 hours per week). The internships are unpaid.
College credit is available.

To apply: Send a resume and cover letter to
jobs@borgenproject.org. Specify the area you are applying for in
the subject (i.e. marketing internship).
Culture
The Borgen Project is a young and energetic
organization. We have fun, but we're all
business when it comes to bringing political
attention to poverty. People arrive early and
leave late.

Dress Code: Business to Business Casual.
Opportunities Post Internship
Several of The Borgen Project's top interns
have stayed involved with the organization in
an official capacity after their internship.
These post internship positions are usually
5-8 hours a week with Associate titles (i.e.
Research Associate). This is an amazing
opportunity for individuals to stay part of the
tribe and boost their resume. Associates
operate unpaid, but have been involved in all
aspects of the organization and had
experiences ranging from lobbying in
Washington, D.C. to attending talk shows
